Listen to the Narration:

Toad and Turtle were sitting together when they spied a grumpy-looking badger trudging by on the creek bank. The badger noticed a pair of doves sitting on a branch above him, and he stopped to growl menacingly at them.

“What a bully that badger is,” Turtle said as the frightened doves flew away. “Why would he want to be so cruel to such peaceful birds?”

Toad thought for a moment. “Everyone does what they think they need to be doing,” he said. “Perhaps the badger is unhappy, and thinks that being cruel is the only way to feel better.”
